Day 2...another mountain climbed or mountain climbed again!

After a night of belly laughs we set out this morning in search of breakfast.  A few more laughs when Con mentioned that McDonalds was just down the road.  That story was from yesterday when we stopped at a gas station only to find out it didn't have a washroom...the friendly attendant mentioned that "McDonalds has one just down the road"...unfortunately we forgot to ask in which direction and 25 km later.....Lucky for us today, we found this great little restaurant called CrossRoads where we had a great breakfast sitting outside on the deck.

After breakfast we set out to Mount Washington for another climb to the top....we have lucked out twice with Con and Terri...the sky was clear and sunny and it was the same at the top.  This was their 2nd trip up the mountain and our 4th.  It never gets old...our first trip to the Blueridge started at Mount Washington back in 2011.

Last chance to change your mind!

We set out from Mount Washington heading to Montpelier...After a quick stop at a great Maple Store looking for Vermont stickers we arrived in Barre and found a great little motel with a pool...after a second day of riding in hot temps it was great to take a dip.  We headed out for supper after that to a place recommended to us by our host.  Corner Stone proved to be a great find...the swordfish tacos were awesome but Larry's Asian Sea Bass OMG.

Hoping for an early start tomorrow despite the forecast...cooler and maybe a little "damp".  Luckily none of us is made of sugar....except for Larry...he's as sweet as ever!

Here is the final thought for the day for all our biking friends....
